Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum CBD
CBD is one of more than 113 different cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Research has shown taking a full-spectrum CBD is more beneficial to your ECS system than just taking CBD alone.
CBD Full Spectrum
Full-spectrum CBD is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occurring in the plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids. This is the best CBD you can buy.
This method or extraction allows all the cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils to remain in the product.
For CBD to be legal to sell in the U.K. the THC in the final product must not be above 1 mg per container for.

By keeping the full spectrum of cannabinoids contained within the plant, it magnifies the therapeutic benefits of each individual cannabinoid. This is commonly referred to as the entourage effect.

CBD Broad Spectrum
Broad-spectrum products are further extraction than full spectrum CBD. This extra extraction removes more of the cannabinoid, terpenes and usually all the THC. This extraction usually involves ethanol and other chemicals. Ethanol is a safe way to extracted CBD but if the plant is not correctly processed these chemicals may end up in final CBD product.
By further refining, the CBD and removing theses important parts of the plant reduces the bioavailability and the ‘entourage effect’ effect on the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).
CBD Isolate Products
CBD isolate products do not contain any spectrum of cannabinoids or terpenes. The extraction process removes all the plant matter and all the other cannabinoids until the only one remaining is CBD in a crystal form. The CBD is then suspended in a carrier oil such as coconut oil or olive oil.
The biggest downside is that all the other helpful cannabinoids and terpenes are removed, this is common in cheap low-quality CBD products.
